I believe that destinies have been written from before the beginning of time.
I believe people matter and that part of our biggest struggle is discovering who we are authentically and how we are uniquely created.
I believe that everyone has a place and much of the resistance we encounter in life is the reality that we are not completely positioned where we are intended to be. Sometimes we try to hard to fit somewhere and it was not made for us-we must keep searching until our heart sings and resonates with the sound around us.
In this piece, I carved a bowl shape into the book to hold and represent the myriad of destinies. I represent people with little books because absolutely everyone has a story and are part of a bigger story.
Our agreement to embrace our authentic self is represented with the spoon-when I agree with who I am, I eat it and I become. There is so much power in agreement.
